Rose Model Review tool allows you to select rose items in the model and put a
review comment against them. You can then save the comments, in XML form and send them to someone else. They load the comments and are able
to browse around the item and diagrams and see the comments made. It's an early release and I don't have a help
file yet.
Instructions
- Unzip the downloaded file. Run the setup.exe. Choose an appropriate install directory. Note that I've
minimized the number of files distributed to lower the size. It is possible that it won't work on some machines unless
the files it needs are already present (they should be in most circumstances).
- Go to the chosen installation directory, edit the RoseReviewer.reg file
and change the installation directory if necessary. Merge the file into the
registry.
- The add-in should be enabled next time rose is run. Check this in the add-ins. If rosereviewer is not ticked,
tick it and select apply. If it unticks itself, then there is a problem.
- Review items by selecting, right clicking and selecting "review..."
- View comments by selecting "Tools::view comments"
- Go to items by double clicking in the left hand or bottom right hand windows
- Save and load comments with the save and open icons
